What to expect

Built to outlast the boards on top.

A coastal deck takes a beating. We use framing, fasteners and connectors suited to coastal exposure, so the structure lasts as long as the decking on top of it.

Choose pressure-treated, composite or hardwood decking. We walk you through the tradeoffs in cost, upkeep and lifespan before you decide.

What’s included

★★★★★

“Cas and Cal did a fabulous job at my house. I had them replace my front entry stairs and a large deck on the back of my house. The staff at Cas and Cal are not construction workers, they are craftsmen. I highly recommend this company.”

Common questions

What people ask about decks and outdoor living.

Composite or wood?

Pressure-treated wood costs less up front. Composite costs more but needs far less upkeep. We price both so you can compare.

Can you rebuild my existing deck?

Yes. We inspect the framing first. If the structure is sound we can resurface it; if not, we rebuild it properly.

Does a new deck need a permit?

Most new decks and structural rebuilds do. We handle the permit and the inspections.
